Summary of Key Duties for this position: • Manage career development, skill development, skill mix, and knowledge transfer for manufacturing engineers and the production organization. • Plan and oversee the manufacturing engineering team. • Utilize the team to develop manufacturing processes, develop work instructions, design tooling, and leverage Design for Producibility concepts. • Be a champion for process improvement. Identify opportunities for cost and schedule improvements and implement changes. • Identify, design, and/or develop requirements for tooling and equipment.
